Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I have returned to the blog world once again and would like to inform family and friends that I have decided to make another overseas trip, this time, will be in the United States of America.
Yes, you read correctly, I am making an return trip to the United States of America for the first time in nearly 11 years, but when? It will be in late January 2010, obviously will be on the 19th January until the 2nd of Feburary 2010 (Will be back in Sydney, on the 4th Feb, to be precise) and the trip will take approximately two weeks.
Today, is the 6th of July 2009 and it was the day I went to the travel agent, and I BOUGHT THE TICKET! The ticket only costed me $1,291 in australian dollars and it is the cheapest bargain ever, instead of these common $3,000 return trip these days.
I originally was supposed to fly with United Airlines, but unfortunately was informed that it was cancelled by the computer error and wasn't able to rebook but the agent was fortunately able to give me an alternative option, which was the Delta Airlines. I decided to take this option instead of the other alternative United Airlines to Melbourne, I couldn't be bothered to fly home from Melbourne, so I took the Delta Airlines (alternatively) which now, I believe is the safest airline in the biggest US airline industry. Must I say more? No?
I was eventually told by my travel agent (Rebecca Seale from Harvey World) that I would be provided 3 full meals, and snacks (which all are included in the price) and in-flight entertainment in front of your very seat. Now, that's more like it!
Now, before I end this first blog.... I wont be blogging constantly for now - becuase the holiday trip is only 6 months away, and there is plenty of time for me to focus on my research and planning and finalise everything before I head out overseas once again.
